Bishop’s Corner

Bishop Victor A. Treviño, Sr. is the esteemed Senior Pastor of Remnant International Ministries in Lansing, Michigan, where he has faithfully served for 29 years and has dedicated over 40 years to the ministry of Jesus Christ.

Answering the call to preach at the tender age of 12, Bishop Treviño demonstrated a deep love for the Word of God early in life. By 16, he was set aside for ministry and appointed as Sunday School Superintendent in his home church. At 19, he was ordained as an Elder, becoming the youngest ordained minister within the Old Reformation Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus. Just one month later, he married the love of his life, Pastor Liz Treviño, and together they have built a strong foundation of faith, love, and service over 34 years of marriage. They are the proud parents of three children and six grandchildren who continue to be their greatest joy.

At the age of 25, Bishop Treviño answered the call to pastor, stepping into leadership to continue his father’s legacy. In January 2004, Bishop and Pastor Treviño followed the leading of the Holy Spirit to transition from their Reformation to Bethlehem Temple – The Bread House, under the spiritual covering of the late Bishop Alfred Singleton, Sr., within the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith International (PCAFI).

On June 28, 2004, they launched The Bread House Hispanic Ministry, a vision that grew into a thriving congregation now known as The Bread House South. In 2013, God blessed the ministry with its own church building, allowing Bishop Treviño to expand outreach efforts and deepen the church’s community impact.

Bishop Treviño’s heart for people is evident through The Bread House South’s community initiatives, including the Clothing Closet, Food Pantry, and Lunch Kitchen that serve those in need every Friday. He also founded the “Gobble Wobble” outreach, which provides Thanksgiving meals to families across the Lansing area.

A teacher, mentor, spiritual father, and friend to many, Bishop Treviño is known for his humility, compassion, and powerful preaching. His ministry extends beyond local borders—he has traveled to Zambia, Africa, to share the gospel and continues to inspire others to pursue the call of God on their lives.

In June 2024, Bishop Treviño earned his Doctorate in Pastoral Leadership from Kingdom University, a testament to his lifelong dedication to growth, excellence, and the call of God.

Bishop Victor A. Treviño, Sr. remains a steadfast servant of the Kingdom—a man of vision, integrity, and unwavering faith—impacting lives and building bridges of hope in Lansing and beyond.
